Arquitectural walk
I'm Ada Peña and my Architectural Walk goes beyond a description but a projection of a way of life, reminiscent of my path as an architect in this very passionate world of creation and the vision of life from the spatial point of view and its influence on "the user". Walking in diferents scales I explored the significance of design and aestetic from micro to macro, from a piece of furniture up to a whole city! Thanks for visit this blog!

LA CARLOTA PARK REDEVELOPMENT
In the middle of Caracas city still exist an airport. Together with the architect Rune Brito I proposed a metropolitan park (keeping the existing airport runway to serve for future emergencies). In the park there will be different recreational, sporting and cultural activities. It will also allow acces for pedestrians and bicycles, linking from the North to the South and from East to West.
House 27
House 27 is located in Caracas, Venezuela. Mainly following the minimalist style being a remodeling of a house from the late 1950's, adopting neutral colors and making the tropical light becoming the main role of the house. My job here was to supervise and manage the project. (Still under construction).

Plaza El Indio Caricuao, Caracas - Venezuela
As an architect on staff at [public servant job] I was assigned to http://www.fundapatrimonio.gob.ve/ or http://www.caracas.gob.ve/?page_id=416 (Fundapatrimonio - The Foundation for the Patrimonial Heritage of Caracas) to make the pavement design for the Caricuao Indian square (2003). Here the Caricuao sculpture is one of the most representative symbols of the area of Caricuao and was sculpted by artist Alejandro Colina s.XX http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alejandro_Colina . The design of the pavement needed to highlight the grandeur of the pedestal which radiates out from the center of the projection of radial spokes. The central sculpture is the spiritual embodiment manifesting in Toromaima who is the indigenous representative.
